Aircrew from two Helicopter Sea Combat (HSC) squadrons based out of Naval Air Station North Island were sent to Texas in support of the Hurricane Harvey relief efforts September 1.
Two MH-60S Seahawks from the “Blackjacks” of HSC-21 and two MH-60S Seahawks from the “Wildcards” of HSC-23 will be on station to provide necessary humanitarian assistance and disaster relief as needed until further notice.
