CHS Girls Golf Beats Morse High School 225-285

Lauren White holds her putter after she hits an eagle at the National City Golf Course.

Coronado High’s Girls Golf Team kicked off their season with a convincing win against Morse High School (225-285) yesterday. Coronado’s summer break hasn’t ended yet, so the golf team only had 6 players for the match.

The highlight of this round against Morse High was Lauren White’s eagle on the third hole. After driving to the green 205 yards, Lauren holed a forty-foot putt, finishing the “Par Four” in two shots. Lauren shot a 41 by the end of the round and earned the “medalist of the match”.
