Coronado Recreation is hosting a Santa’s Workshop on Thursday, December 8th to give children an opportunity to make Christmas gifts for their family. From 3:00-5:00pm in the community center, children will be able to make at least five gifts so that they have one to give to mom, dad, grandma, grandpa, and a brother or sister or friend.
Gifts to hand-make include ceramic sculptures to paint, key chains to design, mobiles to string, sand art to pour, frames to create, necklaces to string and more! The workshop highlights each child’s artistry with an ornament they make and hang on the community center’s Christmas tree. This gift making is only available for children, but parents and other adults can assist their busy elves.
Admission, payable at the door, is discounted for multiple children in a family and free for adults. This is the one opportunity for your child to make all their holiday gifts at one time! Extra treats that will be featured at Santa’s Workshop are cups of steaming hot chocolate and a hip hop dance performance by the H2A Dance Team.
