Secure by December 10th for VIP Access
The Coronado Chamber of Commerce is currently looking for local businesses, organizations and individuals to sponsor their 32nd Annual Salute to the Military Ball, set for Saturday, March 11, 2017 at the Hotel del Coronado. As a special thanks this year, sponsors who secure their spot before December 10th will be given access to the hosted VIP Reception prior to the Ball. Nine table sponsors have been secured so far.
“This is a unique event, providing local businesses the opportunity to thank our military personally,” said Sue Gillingham, Executive Director of the Chamber. “We always have an amazing showing of support from Coronado, but we’re hoping for an even bigger turnout this year.”
Since 1985, the Coronado Chamber of Commerce has hosted this black tie affair, giving Coronado citizens and surrounding business communities an opportunity to show their thanks and support to local military members and their families. The evening will also include the presentation of the 19th annual Harry T. Jenkins Memorial Award and the 6th annual VADM James & Sybil Stockdale Award to deserving military members, as well as a special guest speaker to be announced. The Harry T. Jenkins Award emphasizes honor, integrity and commitment. The Stockdale Award recognizes a military couple who best exemplify the selfless service and dedication to the community, the Military, and the country.
Multiple sponsorship opportunities are available, from table sponsors to title sponsors to à la carte sponsors. Table sponsors start at just $1,760. In addition to an amazing four-course dinner by the Hotel Del, wine service and entertainment for six guests, all table sponsorships enable two military couples to attend this special evening as complimentary guests. Pricing is the same as last year with Gold Premier tables at $5,500, Silver tables at $3,500, Bronze 10-Top tables at $2,200 and Bronze 8-Top tables at $1,760. If you cannot commit to a full table, you may sign up as a Table Captain and meet other community members to share and co-sponsor your table.
Title and Package Sponsorships are also available, with the Title Sponsorship & Gold Premier Seating priced at $35,000. This includes your name and logo top-billed as the Presenting Sponsor on all marketing materials prior to and at the event, plus Premier Seating for you and your guests. A Patriotic Patron & Gold Premier Seating Sponsorship is $15,000 and a Ballroom Décor & Silver Star Seating is priced at $10,000.
The Chamber is also looking for À La Carte Sponsors, ranging from Entertainment and A/V to Invitation and Printing to Cocktail Hour and Event Photography. If your local business might be a good fit for one of these categories, please contact the Chamber office.
