As we close out the 46th season of Concerts in the Park, we would like to extend an invitation to our community to join us as we pay special tribute in recognition of the 15th Anniversary of 9/11. An interesting fact to think about…every Coronado student who began school a few weeks ago, from kindergarten to senior year in high school, has no memory of the events of 9/11. Amazing, isn’t it? Below is a schedule of the event.

- 5:02pm – Singing of the National Anthem – Representing the Coronado Police Department from the Records Division, Erica Trevino
- 5:04pm – Introductions of guests on stage: Fire Chief Mike Blood, Fire Battalion Chief Perry Peake, (both worked the “hill”; at the World Trade Center), Police Chief Jon Froomin, retired American Airlines Captain, Retired Marine Captain and former pilot for the Blue Angels Stephen Petit, Retired Navy Lt. Kevin Shaeffer.
