Low Tide Ride and Stride: Enjoy a Pristine 8.2 Mile Stretch of Beach June 26th

low_tideCoronado’s own unique event organized by the Rotary Club of Coronado, the annual LOW TIDE RIDE AND STRIDE, returns

Sunday, June 26th with an 8:00am start time.

For one day only the US Navy opens up a pristine 8.2 mile stretch of beach starting at YMCA Camp Surf in Imperial Beach, and ending at the finish line on the beach past the Hotel Del Coronado. As in years past, over 50% of the event proceeds will be donated to local Wounded Veteran’s causes.

Whether you are a return event participant or a first timer, make sure to mark your calendar to sign up and register for this cherished annual tradition (see website information below).

The anticipated 1000 participants range in age and fitness level, including everyone from the most dedicated athlete, to families with children and baby joggers who either run, bike or walk the stunning stretch of beach, during the aptly timed lowest tide of the month, making for ideal conditions for bikers or runners/walkers.

You can expect a fun filled day where you will create lasting memories for the family to include:

A participation medal, exciting post race raffle, the dry fit long sleeved race t-shirt (back by popular demand), safe bike storage, shuttle service, live music, great vendors, water stations…all while you enjoy the beauty and synergy of community!
