Recreation Services received over 133 entries from Coronado youth for the Annual Turkey Coloring Contest. The contest was judged by an expert panel comprised of city employees; and first, second and third prizes were awarded to the age groups of K-1, 2nd-3rd grade and 4th-5th grade. Second and third place winners received a pie purchased through Mama’s Kitchen’s Pie in the Sky Event and first place winners received a turkey to cook this Thanksgiving. The winners were recognized and received their awards at the City Council Meeting on Tuesday, November 17th. Congratulations to all the winners!
