Gilbert is a gentle giant of a cat – very kind, gentle and affectionate. He enjoys pets and rewards his petter with a low rumbling purr to let you know that he appreciates your attention.
Despite losing his home, humans and feline companion, Gilbert has maintained his positive outlook on life, but would certainly prefer being in a home rather than in the shelter.
A quieter home with someone to lavish him with lots of TLC would suit Gilbert best. Since he has lived his entire life with another cat, and has no issues with the cats at the facility, we know he would do fine with other felines in the family.

You can meet Gilbert at the Coronado Animal Care Facility any day between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm (except major holidays). The Coronado Animal Care Facility is located at 1395 First Street at the south end of the Ferry Landing complex.
If you are interested in adopting Gilbert, you must first complete a Cat Adoption Application and meet with a PAWS of Coronado Cat Adoption Counselor. Cat adoption applications are available at the facility or Cat Adoption Applications may be completed online.
