Local resident and PAWS Board of Director Caroline Haines has done it again. Many of you may know Caroline as the founder of the Coronado Pet Parade and Chili Cook-off. Caroline’s creativity and passion to help the animals knows no bounds and she has recently launched the Pennies 4 PAWS Program.
In Caroline’s own words: “For all those unwanted pennies when checking out of a local business, this is the place for that. We have acrylic dog house’s that we will be placing around the Coronado area. If you are a merchant and would be willing to help the animals out I would love to hear from you to place one in your business If you are a consumer, please consider donating your pennies This is a very worth while cause and this group goes beyond to save these beautiful animals .”
