Last night at approximately 10:10 p.m., officers responded to a motorcycle vs. vehicle collision on SR75 at Cays Blvd. The vehicle was traveling eastbound on Cays Blvd. when it was struck by the motorcycle which was traveling northbound on SR75. The motorcyclist was transported to a San Diego area hospital with serious injuries. The driver and passenger in the vehicle suffered minor injuries.
The motorcyclist, Gustavo Sepulveda of Imperial Beach, was arrested for felony DUI. The #2 lane northbound SR75 was closed for several hours due to the investigation and clearing of the accident scene. The lane was reopened earlier this morning.
