An Evening of Storytelling & Music with Jacqui Silver: ‘The Hotel Del—1888 thru Prohibition’

On Friday, November 15, at 5:30 pm, musician and storyteller Jacquelyne Silver will present a very special program in the Winn Room of the Coronado Library, taking the audience along on a glorious journey back to the first few decades after the Hotel del Coronado opened in 1888.

As a graduate of The Juilliard School, Miss Silver is a renowned musician, entertainer and teacher. A well-respected and versatile pianist, with styles ranging from ragtime to Cabaret, she has performed in numerous concert halls, including Lincoln Center and Carnegie Hall. Her unique style and vibrant performances have captivated audiences across the country.

In celebration of the landmark hotel’s 125th birthday, Miss Silver will bring to life its early history through stories, as she performs the extraordinary music of that era. Jointly presented by the Coronado Historical Association and the Coronado Public Library in partnership with Coronado Storytellers, this delightful program is also endorsed by the Coronado Cultural Arts Commission.
