Tinker is a beautiful Maine Coon cat that is in need of a new home.
Back in April of 2009, Tinker thought she had it made being adopted from Best Friends Animal Sanctuary at the golden age of 12 years young.
PAWS of Coronado cat adoption counselors Bob and Corinne were on one of their regular volunteer visits to Best Friends and they agreed to transport Tinker to her new forever home in San Diego.
They say that Tinker was a delightful travel companion, very easy going and sweet natured. They kept her for a day in their home until they could give her to her new mom and she was a loving and happy kitty enjoying the comforts of a home and all of the attention.
But life has taken another bad turn for TinkerÂ…her mom is battling a brain tumor and can no longer care for Tinker. At 16 years of age, Tinker is again faced with being an orphan. What everyone believed to be her forever home is no longerÂ…
Tinker has a very temporary foster home here in Coronado and so arrangements can be made for you to meet her.
Corinne has visited Tinker and says that she is understandably depressed about her circumstances and doesn’t understand why the loving home she thought she would be in for the rest of her life has been torn away from her.
Tinker does need some TLC and a good grooming, but other than that she is still a wonderful cat who desperately wants and needs a home in which to spend her twilight years.
Do you have room in your heart and home to give Tinker the love and respect this gorgeous gal needs?
