Featured Cat of the Week “Sasha” – Also Come Meet the Coronado Chihuahuas

Sasha is a female Shaded Silver Persian variety, approximately 7 years old. She’s calm and loving, attentive to saying hello and keeping you company. Sasha gets along with other cats and enjoys the company of her human friends as well. This green-eyed girl is an absolute beauty. Her fluffy tail is her most glamorous feature, one duly noted as she sashays across the room to meet you. She’s a real peach of a lady, a girl who will offer years of friendship and loyalty. With school back in session, consider adding a pet to your home to act as a Study Buddy to keep the children company while they do their homework assignments. The stress of test taking can be greatly reduced having a furry friend to encourage one to persevere. An an added bonus, Sasha will even dust your desk for you with her dust-buster tail.

Andy is a male Chihuahua found as a stray alone at Coronado dog beach. He is approximately three or four years old and weighs 7.4 pounds. He is affectionate, playful and gets along with other dogs. This loving little guy is eager to share his affectionate ways with you. His eyes seem to say just give me a chance. Zorro, a male Chihuahua was found as a stray near the Strand area base housing. He is about two years old and weighs 4.6 lbs. This bundle of joy has lots of energy. He loves to play and seems to get along with other small dogs at the Animal Care Facility. A quick jump up into a comfortable lap suits this handsome little guy just fine. Come see for yourself what a great companion this little guy can be and let him have a chance to show you.

You can meet other dogs and cats available for adoption at the Coronado Animal Care Facility (ACF) on 1395 First Street. Hours of operation are 9am – 4pm, every day but major holidays. All our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped and current on their immunizations prior to their adoption. PAWS of Coronado would like to announce our new program, Feline Baby Boomers /Senior to Senior Adoption Program. Cats 10+ years adopted to parents 55+ years get a reduced fee of $35 for the first cat, $15 for the second. It’s kitten season, so come on down and meet the gang. They are more than willing to entertain you with their antics. Bring your cat carrier, you are going to want to take one or two home.
