Monty is a handsome DMH (domestic medium length hair) black cat with luminous golden eyes. He was found as a stray, and the vet estimates him to be about ten months old. Monty was a little shy with the other cats in the cat community room at first, watching carefully from his cat tree. Now he is out and about and very friendly with everyone. This young man loves people and purrs at first touch. He pours on the charm and is very affectionate and loving. Being so young, he still has the playfulness of a kitten without the excess energy. Monty takes his role as taste tester of treats very seriously, so you’ll need to come prepared. If you are looking for a handsome prince charming of a cat, Monty may be the boy for you.
You can meet other dogs and cats available for adoption at the Coronado Animal Care Facility (ACF) on 1395 First Street. Hours of operation are 9am – 4pm, every day but major holidays. To see and read about other animals needing homes, please view our websites: pawsofcoronado.org and petfinder.com. All our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped and current on their immunizations prior to their adoption. With school back in session, consider adding a pet to your home to act as a Study Buddy to keep the children company while they do their homework assignments. The stress of test taking can be greatly reduced having a furry friend to encourage one to persevere, knowing their biggest fan is right beside them.
