Angel is a female Shepherd/Lab variety about 9 months old. She’s got a sleek, shiny black coat, a handsome girl indeed. This young lady is just sweetness from head to toe, with that element of “a girl who just likes to have fun”. Angel will be best suited with a family who will keep her on task, set limits and help her to practice good manners when meeting new people. Topping the list of her many positive features is her wit: she’s quick to learn and eager to do right by her caregiver. Recent introduction to clicker training gives her focus on learning these new responsibilities. An active lifestyle will be important for Angel; she’s a girl who is smart and enthusiastic, so a family committed to allowing her these outlets will best suit her personality. Angel is a loving, gentle soul who would do well with any family who will give her the chance to prove how special she is and love her as their treasured companion.
Luigi
Luigi is a male kitten, born early July. He’s a black Tabby with so much love to give, his name came easily. At three weeks old, he was found all alone at a Pizza Parlor on the Coronado Navy Base, where he immediately entered into his foster home. This lover boy is easy company and enjoys the companionship of other kitties. He can get along with respectful dogs; Luigi is still pretty small. His foster moms report him to be so kissable, it’s hard to put him down. He’s a great kitty who is a perfect house guest and keeps us in stitches with his cuteness. Luigi will be available after September 15, the delay due to his needing to make the weight for his neuter. Our goal is to adopt him straight from his foster family to yours. His foster moms will accommodate any interest in meeting him.
You can meet other dogs and cats available for adoption at the Coronado Animal Care Facility (ACF) on 1395 First Street. Hours of operation are 9am – 4pm, every day but major holidays. To see and read about other animals needing homes, please view our websites: pawsofcoronado.org and petfinder.com. All our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped and current on their immunizations prior to their adoption. PAWS of Coronado would like to announce our new program, Feline Baby Boomers /Senior to Senior Adoption Program. Cats 10+ years adopted to parents 55+ years get a reduced fee of $35 for the first cat, $15 for the second. It’s kitten season, so come on down and meet the gang. They are more than willing to entertain you with their antics. Bring your cat carrier, you are going to want to take one or two home.
