Coronado Resident John Ovrom Publishes First Book

Coronado resident John Ovrom is an author and recognized civic/business leader. He has successfully grown and sold more than 10 of his own businesses plus numerous others for clients in the past 20 years. In the process, he has gained first hand experience and learned a great deal about selling a business from both the seller and buyer’s perspective. It is that perspective that has allowed him to publish his first book: Exit & Answers – make better decisions when you sell or exit your business.

Exit & Answers gives you first hand experience about selling a business along with other essential topics:

• Understand seller and buyer expectations
• Maximize value before the sale
• Know when to walk away from a deal
• Understand the fine print
• Maximize after tax dollars
• After “The Exit”

John also serves as founder and CEO of Coronado-based Exit and Answers (exitandanswers.com), an online community of small business owners and professional service providers. E&A provides small business owners the knowledge and resources they need to maximize their returns when selling their businesses, passing them down, or simply closing the doors.

John began Exit and Answers because he found his initial experience of selling a business difficult and unrewarding. Like most small business owners, John found little information on how to sell his business, and what he did find was scattered, difficult to understand, and incomplete.

John is also president of Exit Consulting Group, a premier business management firm serving small businesses. John has more than two decades of hands-on experience building, growing and selling S-Corp, C-Corp, and LLC businesses. Before opening his first company, John served as a business auditor with Arthur Andersen and Company.
