SYNOPSIS:
As a result of a burglary series involving the theft of bicycles from parking structures in Coronado, bulletins with photographs and a description of a potential suspect were distributed. On June 23, 2010, a citizen, alerted by the bulletin, saw the suspect in a parking garage and called police. The suspect fled, but was found by Police, hiding in the bushes on the Silver Strand State Highway. The suspect, Matthew Douglas Willimann (D.O.B. 05/18/71) was arrested and charged with four counts of burglary and grand theft. Additional charges are pending.
