Easter Sunday Celebrations at the Hotel del Coronado

NEWS RELEASE March 5, 2009 EASTER SUNDAY CELEBRATIONS AT THE DEL Coronado, CA — Celebrate Easter at the Hotel del Coronado with food, entertainment and fun for the whole family. On Sunday, April 12, The Del will feature several special holiday brunch options, Easter-egg hunts, holiday crafts and visits with the Easter Bunny. The Del’s Easter Champagne Brunch buffet is available in the oceanfront Ballroom and in the magnificent Crown Room from 9am – 3pm. The elegant buffet will feature classic holiday fare. A special children’s buffet will be available for the little ones. Both the Crown Room and the Ballroom will have live musical entertainment. Cost is $74 for adults and $32 for children ages 6-10 (not including tax and gratuity). Children 5 and under eat free. 1500 OCEAN The Del’s signature, ocean view restaurant will offer a more intimate holiday dinner option from 5:30pm to 10pm. Chef Brian Sinnott’s fresh, regional 4-course Easter menu is available for $80 per person with optional wine pairings. A children’s 3-course menu is available for $25 per child. EGG HUNTS (For Club Members, Hotel, Brunch and Sheerwater Breakfast Guests Only) Easter morning will be kicked off with a good old-fashioned egg hunt! There will be three different hunts on the oceanfront Windsor Lawn from 10am to 10:40am, to include children of all ages. Another round of egg hunts will take place from 12pm to 12:40pm. There is no cost for the egg hunts. Please register at 619-522-8815 by April 10. craft “eggstravaganza” (For Guests and Non-Guests) The south end of the Windsor Lawn will also be the site for a fun zone with crafts for all ages from 10am to 12pm. Cost is $7 for brunch and hotel guests and $14 for non-guests. Reservations are not necessary for crafts. The Easter Bunny himself will be roaming throughout the hotel for photo opportunities.
