SAN DIEGO — According to an advisory from the White House, the Vice President and Dr. Jill Biden are scheduled to arrive in San Diego to speak with local military personnel and their families today, Thursday, May 14. While in San Diego, the Vice President and Dr. Biden will visit with U.S. Sailors and their families at Naval Base Coronado. The Vice President is scheduled to deliver remarks to USS Ronald Reagan Sailors and their families. Afterwards, the Vice President and Dr. Biden will eat lunch with the sailors onboard the USS Ronald Reagan. Dr. Biden is expected to then meet with local military spouses and community volunteer groups to discuss issues facing military families while the Vice President takes a tour of the base and meets with Navy SEALs on Coronado. In the evening, the Vice President will attend a Democratic National Committee event. On Friday, the Vice President is scheduled to hold a Recovery Act event in Los Angeles.
