When Barry Francis lost his wedding band in Coronado, he hardly expected to get it back from Texas, courtesy of a stranger from Colorado.
Francis, a retired Navy master chief who now works with SEAL training teams, is pretty sure he lost it while putting change into a parking meter. He returned the next day to look for it, with no luck.
The Francis family soon learned that a visitor from Colorado had found his wedding band, had noted the maker’s mark engraved inside and contacted its creators in Texas, then forwarded the ring to them.
