The Coronado Lawn Bowling Club was started in 1935 at 7th and D Ave featuring a typical grass green. That green was lost when the Library was expanded but the City then constructed a world class artificial tournament quality green which was dedicated in March 2010 at the same location on the corner of 7th Street and D Avenue next to the library and across from the high school. The green is open to the public and all are welcome to come and have a free lesson in lawn bowling or bowling on the green.
Club Games on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays at 9:30am and on Wednesdays and Sundays at 2:00pm. Whites favored, but required only on Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays.
