Softball: CHS Girls Destroy Lincoln High School 18-1

On Tuesday, Islanders softball hosted Lincoln High School for their last game before spring break. In a five-inning game, Coronado had eight total hits, while Lincoln had given up fifteen walks. Freshman Courtney Williams was Coronado’s top hitter, as “she went 3-3 with a triple,” shared Coach Tony Isabella. Pitcher Emma Casamassima kept Lincoln’s runs at a minimum, recording twelve strikeouts. The final score was 18 to 1.

The team’s current record is three wins to five losses, with a two-game winning streak.
