Coronado Little League Needs Managers, Coaches and Umpires

CLL logo little leagueSpring baseball is just around the corner and the CLL Board of Directors and other volunteers are hard at work preparing for the season. We have more than 300 players ages 4 to 15 registered and anxious to play! It is an exciting time, but the League needs help. At present we do not have managers or coaches for at least 4 teams, and we need umpire help too. What better way to support a worthwhile activity for Coronado’s kids, and see baseball up close and personal, than to be a CLL volunteer?

Coronado Little League has long been an all volunteer organization. Our Board of Directors, Managers, Coaches, Umpires, Scorekeepers, and concession staff are all unpaid. With so many volunteers, registration fees can be kept very low, and uniforms and equipment can be kept in good condition.

Please consider letting us help you solve the problem of what to do with your free time by volunteering to Manage, Coach or Umpire! Break out the sunscreen! Manage a team and help mold young lives! Umpire and get your way! Enjoy baseball on the Island! Experience playing or managing or umpiring baseball is not required! Have an excuse to get out of the office (or for doing chores at home). Men and women are both welcome! We need you!

Reasons to Umpire
