This election is not about Coronado’s past, it is about Coronado’s future. When comparing the two candidates for mayor, it is quick to see that one of the candidates has an instinct to get things done, to move beyond just another study, to move beyond just talking about it, and actually take action – that candidate is Richard Bailey.

Here are just a few of Mr. Bailey’s accomplishments:

  • Nixle – the application that sends traffic updates to your smart phone.
  • Redesigning the entrance to Coronado
  • Passing meaningful changes to improve the safety of 3rd and 4th
  • Voting against wasteful spending projects

Mr. Bailey was the first candidate to go door to door and he was the first councilmember to engage the public on social media to provide immediate feedback on what the council was voting on and how you could participate. Now every other councilmember and candidate has followed his lead.

We need a mayor that listens and leads. That mayor is Richard Bailey!
