Construction crews will close two of three lanes on southbound state Route 75, the San Diego-Coronado Bridge, from Interstate 5 in San Diego to Coronado Sunday through Thursday from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. beginning Wednesday, May 4 through the end of June. Additionally, one of two lanes on the connector ramps from northbound and southbound I-5 to SR-75 will be closed. The work is part of a $20.6 million project to clean and paint six bridge spans and to construct three maintenance traveler systems inside the bridge. The traveler systems allow inspection and maintenance crews to safely access the inside of the bridge below the deck.
