Installation of Pastor at Resurrection Lutheran Church of Coronado

CORONADO, February 26, 2016 – You are invited to the Installation of The Rev. Brian Keith Oltman, Pastor, who has been called to Shepherd the Congregational Ministry of Resurrection Lutheran Church at 1111 5th Street (corner of Orange Ave & 5th Street), Coronado, California 92118.

Brian OltmanPastor Brian Oltman is an ELCA pastor, who grew up just west of Minneapolis in Glencoe, MN.  He graduated from Wartburg Seminary in Dubuque, IA in 1990.  Over the last 25 years, Pastor Brian has served various parishes/non-profit organizations in CA and MN, along with being a chaplain with Sharp Hospitals in San Diego, CA.  He is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist/Pastoral Counselor in CA.  For the last 10 years he has worked as a therapist in the Adult Intensive Outpatient Program at Sharp Mesa Vista Psychiatric Hospital in San Diego, along with a counseling practice at the New Life Center at the First United Methodist Church also in San Diego.  Pastor Brian has completed his course work for the PsyD/MFT Doctoral Degree through Ryokan College of Los Angeles, and is completing his dissertation on the Effectiveness of Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy and Spirituality for those experiencing the symptoms of depression, anxiety and substance abuse.  Pastor Brian has been serving Resurrection Lutheran Church as Supply Pastor since April of 2015, and continues his ministry with RLC at 25 hours per week on March 15, 2016.
