Coronado, November 5, 2015 – Lamb’s Players announced casting for their annual FESTIVAL OF CHRISTMAS All I Want for Christmas and AN AMERICAN CHRISTMAS.
Producing Artistic Director Robert Smyth said, “Christmas is a busy but joyous time at Lamb’s. We are pleased to be able to provide an artistic home for so many of San Diego’s finest performers during the holidays. Between our two shows – we employ over 35 artists, in addition to our fantastic production team. We look forward to celebrating the holidays together.”
The FESTIVAL OF CHRISTMAS cast includes long-time Lamb’s favorites and Associate Artists Danny Campbell, Sandy Campbell, Jim Chovick, Caitie Grady, Lauren King Thompson, Kerry Meads, Jordan Miller, Michael Parrott & John Rosen. They are joined by 10-year-old Gage Magosin, who makes his Lamb’s debut. This year’s FESTIVAL, All I Want for Christmas is written by Lamb’s Associate Artistic Director, Kerry Meads and directed by Lamb’s Associate Artistic Director, Deborah Gilmour Smyth. Musical Direction is by Jon Lorenz.
This year – the annual AN AMERICAN CHRISTMAS has moved downtown to THE US GRANT HOTEL. This 1915 Feast & Celebration is a 3-hour evening filled with music, dance, story, song and laughter, all woven through an interactive 4-course holiday dinner. The cast includes many long-time Lamb’s favorites, Associate Artists and some new faces to our stage. The cast includes Moriah Angeline, Annie Buckley, Mike Buckley, Kathleen Calvin, Greg Campbell, Jessica Couto, Ian Cunningham, Nicki Elledge, Cynthia Gerber, Jason Heil, Jennifer Hubilla, Luke Harvey Jacobs, Meghan McCann, Kürt Norby, Rik Ogden, Molly O’Meara, Grandison Phelps, Erika Phillips, John Polhamus, Katie Sapper, Ernest Sauceda, Deborah Gilmour Smyth, Robert Smyth and Ramona Unwin.
FESTIVAL OF CHRISTMAS runs at Lamb’s Players Theatre, 1142 Orange Avenue, Coronado from Dec 2-27. Select Tues & Wed at 2 p.m., Tues-Thu at 7:30 p.m., Fri at 8 p.m., Sat at 4 and 8 p.m., Sun at p.m. Tickets are $24-$74. Half Price tickets available for Active Duty Military, Youth (ages 5-17) and those under the age of 35 who join our “Under 35” club.
AN AMERICAN CHRISTMAS runs at THE US GRANT HOTEL, 326 Broadway, San Diego from Dec 17-26. Every evening (except Christmas) at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $152 – $168 with a $40 discount for children 5-12 with a modified meal. The all-inclusive ticket price includes the evening’s entertainment, an hors d’oeuvre party, a four-course meal at your table in the Presidential Ballroom, a champagne toast, tax and gratuity.
