Chip Kislack speaks with the same excitement in his voice of a man who has just won the lottery.
And, in Kislack’s mind, he has done just that.
He has been hired as the new baseball coach at Coronado High. Kislack replaces longtime coach Sam Ceci, who won 293 games and three section titles over 16 seasons with the Islanders.
