Gary Jackson and Oscar De Las Salas were recently married, after seven years together. They picked a beautiful park in Coronado, California to have their wedding ceremony. Unfortunately, their ceremony was tainted by a cowardly hater yelling homophobic slurs from an overlooking balcony. See Gary & Oscar’s Story on 10 News
Coronadans want to show Gary, Oscar and everyone else that we are a tolerant, welcoming community that rejects hate and embraces love. So, we’re asking for a re-do, and Gary and Oscar have graciously accepted the offer to travel back to Coronado to give our community a second chance!
A vow renewal ceremony and reception will be held in their honor on October 11 at the Loew’s Coronado resort. While many of our generous Coronado citizens and businesses have stepped up to donate goods and services, we still need some additional cash for food, beverage and incidentals to throw an awesome party. If you can spare a little cash (any amount helps), we are certain that good karma will come your way, and our way, as a community.
Let’s show them some island positivity and do what Coronadans do best–throw a great party! Learn more.
