CORONADO, CA (August 27, 2014) The City of Coronado reminds residents and businesses that most non-public safety City facilities will be closed on Monday, September 1, in observance of the Labor Day holiday.
Coronado Police and Fire will be staffed for the holiday. Public Services will be on call Monday to respond to emergencies. Certain City of Coronado departments and services will be open with varying hours of operation.
Here is the Labor Day schedule:

· Public Services crews will NOT sweep streets on the holiday.
· EDCO will NOT perform regular residential trash collection on Labor Day. As a result, service will be delayed one day. Waste and recycling collection services for commercial businesses will not be affected by the holiday and service will be provided on the regularly scheduled service day.
· The next Coronado City Council meeting is set for September 2.
