Hi, my name is Mackenzie Wiley. I moved to Coronado from Virginia Beach, Virginia when I was ten years old. Before I moved to Coronado I didn’t even know such a fantastic place existed. From the first time I drove over the bridge I knew I was going to be happy. One of my favorite things to do in Coronado is dinning (or snacking) at one of the great restaurants. There are so many different types of food choices. I can choose from Greek, Italian, Thai, or a muffin within a few blocks. I love how excited people in Coronado become during the holidays. The holiday parade and the 4th of July parade bring the community together and I look forward to both each year.
I will be a senior at Coronado High School. I play varsity water polo and volleyball. After high school, I plan on playing water polo in college, though I have yet to make a decision about where to attend college. I want to study communications because I like hearing other people’s stories, creating my own stories, and sharing information with others. I believe that even the quietest people have an interesting story to tell.
