Senior Cassidy Wiley began her Coronado story in 2007, while she was in the fifth grade, when her family moved here due to her father’s transfer with the military.
Cassidy had a great experience at Coronado High School. Cassidy’s most memorable experience in high school was in 2011 when the boy’s water polo team won CIF. “The environment and excitement of the game was so much fun to be a part of! It was a great day to be a fan!”
While at CHS Cassidy’ favorite teacher was math teacher, Mr. Lemei. “He always believes in his students. Even if you don’t think you can do a problem, he walks you through it until you know you can.” In the last semester of high school Cassidy is looking forward to enjoying her last few months at CHS and attending senior events such as: Prom, Powder Puff and the senior trip to Disneyland.
Next fall Cassidy will be heading off to Palo Alto, California to attend Stanford University, where she will play water polo. Cassidy says she chose Stanford because, ” I loved the campus, the team, and the school has so much to offer.” Cassidy currently is undecided about what she will major in, but she plans on taking a wide variety of classes to explore all possible options.
One thing no one knows about Cassidy is “I love the show, Friends. I can watch the same episode five times and it never gets old.”
