Late Saturday morning, a fire was reported in the 500 block of H Avenue. According to witnesses, fire crews from Coronado, the US Navy, Imperial Beach, and San Diego responded. Fortunately, all occupants were believed to have escaped without injury, and the fire appears to have been contained before it could spread to surrounding structures. eCoronado member Amanda Rimmer shared these photos (below) of the Coronado’s Fire Department, along with other area fire departments, working hard to control the blaze.
