Starting tomorrow, Tuesday, January 28, the counselors at Coronado High School will host three College planning sessions. Parents are invited to attend the event in the CHS multipurpose room at 6:30 p.m. Tomorrow night is specifically geared towards the parents of high school freshman (9th graders).
Wednesday, January 29 is geared toward the parents of sophomores (10th graders) and Thursday, January 30 is set aside for parents of juniors (11th graders).
The counselors will help you interpret your student’s PSAT scores and offer information about college admission requirements. Having attended last year, I can testify that it is worth your time. I will go this year as well. It will be extremely helpful if you bring a copy of your child’s PSAT scores. Having the scores in front of you makes the interpretation of your child’s level of achievement much easier to comprehend.
