The 35th Annual Coronado Holiday Open House & Christmas Parade Celebration


Friday December 3rd, 2010

Snow Mountain 3-8pm: Children frolic in Coronado’s version of a snowy Christmas at the Coronado Ferry Landing.

Santa Claus Is Coming To Town 3:20pm: When coming to Coronado, Santa leaves his sleigh at home and rides the ferry across San Diego Bay to the Coronado Ferry Landing pier. Watch video of Santa arriving.

Merchant Open House 5:30-9pm: Come shop Coronado for unique gifts for everyone on your list this year.

CHRISTMAS PARADE 6-7pm:
Bands, floats, kids of all ages, and again this year-festive electric carts parade down Orange Avenue. Catch a good viewing spot between 8th Street and RH Dana Place.

Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony & Community Concert 7pm: Santa and the Mayor of Coronado will flip the switch to light the Rotary Plaza Christmas Tree followed by a performance from the Coronado Community Band.

Concert at 9th & Orange 7:15-9pm: Jump start your holiday spirit with live music in the street.

NOTE: ORANGE AVENUE CLOSED 5:30-9PM From 6th Street to R. H. Dana Place at Orange Avenue

Photos with Santa: Coronado Island Florist and Island Light Photography are hosting Santa from 9am-1pm at 971 Orange Ave. Get your photo with Santa, decorate cookies and enjoy hot chocolate.
