Nov. 17 through Jan. 1 – Frosted by the Sea at The Del – lights, activities, culinary delights and décor, including new beachside igloos

Nov. 17 through Jan. 1“At First Light” Lightshow at The Del – enhanced for 2022, the grove of Norfolk Island Pines sets the scene for a dynamic light show orchestrated to music, with a finale of snow flurries

Nov. 17 through Jan. 1 – Skating by the Sea at The Del – beachfront ice rink at Windsor Lawn welcomes skaters of all ages in an incomparable backdrop with stunning views of the Pacific Ocean

Dec. 27 through Jan. 8Christmas Tree Curbside Recycling – place bundled-with-twine Christmas tree sections (max 4′ length x 18″ diameter) for curbside pickup. If using green bin, cut tree into max 4′ long sections to place into bin

Dec. 27 through Jan. 15Christmas Tree Drop-Off Recycling – drop off your undecorated tree (no size restrictions) at one of two Coronado locations

Dec. 31New Year’s Eve Masquerade Gala  – Ring in the New Year at a Masquerade Gala in the new Southpointe Ballroom in Victorian style, with spectacular performances, dancing to a live 9-piece band, live-action food stations for a heavy reception-style dinner, awe-inspiring live performances, and more

Dec. 31New Year’s Eve at Lionfish – Ring in 2023 at Lionfish in downtown San Diego with a special tasting four-course menu by Chef Jojo Ruiz and a complimentary champagne toast

Nov. 19 – FOCUS Holiday Boutique – More than 40 booths will feature upscale clothing, artwork, craft soaps and candles, one-of-a kind jewelry pieces, handbags, children’s clothing, special holiday foods, serving pieces and a whole host of gift items
Nov. 21 – Crafting for Kids – Polar Express train car craft for ages up to 11
Nov. 24 – Turkey Trot – 9th annual event on Thanksgiving morning
Nov. 24 – Thanksgiving Dinner at The Del – a Thanksgiving dinner in the beautiful new Southpointe Ballroom
Nov. 26 – Shop Small Saturday – support our local independent businesses on Small Business Saturday and grab a Passport and enter to win $250, $100, or $50 in Coronado Currency
Nov. 30 – CIFF Classic Film Series – “The Holiday” (2006) at Village Theatre
Dec. 1 – Crafts & Cocoa by the Tree – materials are included with the cost, enjoy coffee or cocoa along with a little snack.
Dec. 1 – Holiday Ikebana Demonstration – Marina Khudobiina will demonstrate Ikebana, a Japanese style of flower arranging
Dec. 1-15 – Letters to Santa – Bring your child, with their letter to Santa to drop in the North Pole Express Mailbox at the Community Center. Include a self-addressed, stamped envelope to facilitate Santa’s reply
Dec. 2 – Holiday Book Signing – stop by Fair Trade Décor for a signing of “Taking Turns”
Dec. 2 – Gingerbread House Decorating Party – All ages welcome for hot cocoa and decorating gingerbread houses at Qualcraft Construction
Dec. 2 – Coronado Holiday Parade & Open House – 46th annual parade with carol singing and a [new & improved] tree and menorah lighting at Rotary Park

Dec. 3 – Artisans Alley Craft Fair – Do your holiday shopping with a wide selection of more than 150 vendors selling homemade crafts and unique holiday gifts at this 50th annual event supporting Coronado band and choir boosters
Dec. 3 – Friends of the Library Holiday Book & Gift Sale Start your holiday shopping at the library
Dec. 3 – Photos with Santa Receive a digital version of a free photo with Santa at the Ferry Landing
Dec. 3 – Holiday in Coronado concert by the Coronado Philharmonia Orchestra – second annual Christmas concert in collaboration with CoSA
Dec. 4 – Golf Cart Rally – sponsored by the Coronado Marines and benefitting Toys for Tots, decorate your golf cart and join the fun
Dec. 5 – Loews Loves Holidays Tree Lighting Celebration at 5:30pm – You won’t want to miss this spectacle of lights, including the unveiling of our Ginger Bread House competition, caroling, and Santa Claus himself! Hot cocoa and appetizers will be served.
Dec. 7 – Holiday Festival at The Del – Community is invited to The Del for its annual Holiday Festival including Skating by the Sea®, photos with St. Nick, performances by Coronado school children, a special “skydiving Santa” parachuting in to join the festivities, and a fireworks show
Dec. 8 – Baum’s Christmas Memories – join CHA for a special holiday edition of Wine & Lecture Series about the history of L. Frank Baum’s Coronado connections
Dec. 9 – Cookies with a Cop – Join some of the officers from the Coronado Police Department for free festive cookies and coffee at the John D. Spreckels Center Lounge
Dec. 10 – Breakfast with Santa – at the Coronado Community Center
Dec. 10 – Photos with Santa Receive a digital version of a free photo with Santa at the Ferry Landing
Dec. 11 – Holiday Classics Concert – with the Daneen Wilburn Quartet
Dec. 11 – Coronado Candy Cane Lane Open House – Find joy in the lights and decorations on the 400 and 500 block of Country Club Lane, Coronado’s own Candy Cane Lane

Dec. 1-24 – Lamb’s Festival of Christmas – “A Christmas Carol,” Kerry Meads’ magical adaptation of Charles Dickens’ iconic redemption story
