Bernie is an adult male Chihuahua/Terrier mix. At 9+ pounds, he’s a small dog with a big personality and a curlicue tail. His primary color is black with a white blaze along his chest, his paws freckled with white. This sweetheart dog is a fun companion, is very comfortable with dogs his size and walks well on a leash. He’s a playful kind of guy who enjoys his toys and snacks. Bernie would complement a family who will love him and offer that opportunity to be active and fun loving. He’s a comic and makes the volunteers belly laugh with his antics.

You can meet Bernie and all of our Available Animals at the Coronado Animal Care Facility at 1395 First Street, next to the Ferry Landing. Hours of operation are 9am-4pm, open every day but holidays.
