Note: This email from CAPT Yancy Lindsey was sent to us to share with the Coronado community. The invitation is to attend the procession that will start from the 4th Street base exit towards the bridge. Many observers lined 4th Street while holding flags and patriotic signs to pay their respects.

NAS North Island will host the funeral/memorial services for two Fallen Warriors this week. These SEALs were killed in action in the recent downed helo in Afghanistan. The services are on Monday (29AUG) and Tuesday (30AUG) mornings. Following the services, a procession will proceed up 4th Street and across the Coronado Bay Bridge on or about 11:00AM. Please pass this on to other Coronado residents to give them the opportunity to pay their respects to these Fallen Warriors and their families. Thank you.
