Stevie Wonder is male, a 5 year old terrier mix, weighing 13.5 pounds. When Stevie arrived at the ACF, he was missing one eye and had a cataract in the other. Despite being nearly blind, he is one happy-go-lucky guy. He loves people, throughly enjoys his walks and is good with other dogs. Stevie Wonder adapts quickly to his surroundings and hasn’t missed a beat since arriving at the ACF.
He would do best in a home with older children and a family whose heart is big enough to see that his limited vision does not limit his ability to love and a be a loyal companion.
You can meet other dogs and cats available for adoption at the Coronado Animal Care Facility (ACF) on 1395 First Street. Hours of operation are 9am – 4pm, every day but major holidays. To see and read about other animals needing homes, please view our websites: pawsofcoronado.org and petfinder.com. All our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped and current on their immunizations prior to their adoption.
With school back in session, consider adding a pet to your home to act as a Study Buddy to keep the children company while they do their homework assignments. The stress of test taking can be greatly reduced having a furry friend to encourage one to persevere, knowing full well, your buddy is there for you when it’s break time.
