ABC 10 News shared this “flashback” video of Coronado in 1970 featuring city-sponsored “Courtesy Bikes” – bikes painted Coronado-green and white and left for use by anyone that wanted to borrow them. Sounds like a pre-cursor to today’s bike sharing businesses, which were not a success in Coronado.
