On Sunday, April 25, Coronado Lifeguards reported that at 8:30 am Sunday morning, a long distance swimmer was circled by an 8-to-10-foot white shark 250 yards offshore of 1000 block of Ocean Boulevard. This put the beach in response level 2 and yellow advisory signs were posted a half mile north and a half mile south of the occurrence.
