May 13 – Islander cheerleaders lining the street, Coronado students, friends, families, and a large showing of community came out in true Nado style to welcome home CHS senior, Class of 2020, Jacob Mckanry as he arrived home from over a week’s stay in the hospital. Jacob was shot during a robbery on May 4 when he was attempting to sell a piece of personal jewelry. Many tears were shed during this emotional outpouring of care and support.
