Two singles players and four doubles teams qualified for the 2019 CIF San Diego Section Girls Tennis Championships held at Balboa Tennis Club. Here are the results:
SINGLES RESULTS:
In the first round, Sinaia Haskal lost to Grace Chen (Torrey Pines) 6-7 (2), 0-6.
Elsa Ostermarker won her first two rounds and lost in the round of 32 to Asha Gidwani (Canyon Crest Academy) 0-6, 0-6.
DOUBLES RESULTS:
Kate Perley and Samantha Russell won their first two rounds and lost to Fogler-Wong (La Jolla Country Day) 0-6, 1-6 in the round of 32.
Ana de la Lama and Ellie Johnson lost in the round of 32 to Berron-Jovanovich (San Marcos) 6-3, 4-6, 5-10.
Alejandra Gonzalez and Marla Steel won their first match and lost in the round of 16 to Speir-Wang (Westview) 3-6, 2-6.
Olivia Strong and Lily Vu won their first match and lost in the round of 16 to Fowler-Fowler (Canyon Crest Academy) 2-6, 1-6.
