For the first time in 13 years, the Coronado Islanders beat the Mar Vista Mariners 42 to 41 in a thrilling football game that went into double overtime.
According to Coach Kurt Hines, “Brady Roulier stepped up big time, as well as James Witthoft, Jayden Ferrer, Ryan Ward, Dylan Noble, and our entire Offensive line.”
Coronado is now 2-2 and plays Mountain Empire at home this Friday at 7pm.
