On Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at 6:00 P.M., the City of Coronado Community Center’s popular Armchair Travel Program presents An Adriatic Adventure. Come along with Coronado’s Phil Garn to Croatia, Montenegro, Slovenia and Venice. You’ll hear tales from lagoons to Alps, waterfalls to war crimes, castles and forts to Roman palaces, aquaculture to jellyfish – with a few special treats for ‘Game of Thrones’ fans and military buffs.
This Armchair Travel event will be held in the Nautilus Room of the Coronado Community Center, 1845 Strand Way. Refreshments will be served from 6:00-6:45 P.M., followed by the speaker’s presentation. This is a wonderful opportunity for community members and visitors to meet old friends and make new acquaintances with whom they share a common interest in travel. $5 for residents and nonresidents.
