Coronado Recreation is offering a plethora of activities this October for middle school age teens.
To celebrate everyone’s favorite October costume celebration, the recreation department has a few different ways for teens to say “BOO” this year including:
A Friday Night on the Town trip through the Haunted Trails of Balboa Park on Friday, October 19th from 6:00-11:00 pm.
There are also Halloween volunteer opportunities for teens including assisting young children with Pumpkin Painting at Coronado Farmer’s Market at the Ferry Landing on Tuesday, October 16th from 3:00-5:00 pm and/or running a carnival booth at the Community Center’s Annual Halloween Happening on Friday, October 26th from 3:00-6:00 pm.
All this celebrating continues with a Teen Halloween Party on Friday, October 26th from 7:00-9:00 pm…a night of spooky contests, dodge ball, music, dancing, snacks and more at the community center exclusive for 6th – 8th graders. Last but truly not least in October, is the Costume Skate Night Barbecue on Saturday, October 26th from 7:00 – 10:00 pm at the Coronado Skatepark.
Almost all of these teen October activities are open only to 6th through 8th graders, but a few are open to high school teens too.
