Cops and Robbers: Four Grand Thefts Total Over $30,000 (8/15/18-8/23/18)

Crimes:

8/19/18: Grand Theft Property near 1500 block of Orange Avenue

Unknown suspect stole the victim’s backpack which contained several electronic items. The backpack was taken from a secured storage area of the Hotel del Coronado Beach Village. The total loss is approximately $17,710.98.

8/18/18: Shoplifting near 900 block of Orange Avenue

Two unidentified male suspects entered Village Hardware and stole a set of Milwaukee Linesman Pliers. The total monetary loss is $31.99.

8/18/18: Petty Theft near 1500 block of Orange Avenue

Unknown suspect took victim’s bicycle valued at approximately $100 from the Hotel del Coronado.

8/18/18: Grand Theft Property near 1200 block of Tenth Street

Unknown suspect took the victim’s locked bicycle and cable lock from a bicycle rack at the location. The stolen bicycle and cable lock are valued at $5,010.

8/16/18-8/20/18: Grand Theft near 1100 block of First Street

Unknown suspect stole a Trek FX S5 bicycle from a secured community parking garage. The value of the bicycle is $1,679.99. The total loss is $4,472.11.

8/15/18: Grand Theft Property near 3600 block of Tulagi Road

Unknown suspect stole victim’s United States Navy-owned military gear. Victim had shipped his gear from the Naval Amphibious Base to Fort Bragg, North Carolina. In the process of delivery, suspect was able to intercept the package, which amounted to a monetary loss of $4,865.

8/22/18: Inflicting Corporal Injury On Spouse/Cohabitant – Felony near 300 block of Orange Avenue

8/22/18: Outside Warrant on Felony Charge – Felony near 400 block of First Street

25 year old male

8/21/18: Outside Warrant on Misdemeanor Charge – Misdemeanor near 6900 block of Silver Strand Boulevard

31 year old male

8/18/18: Outside Warrant on Misdemeanor Charge – Misdemeanor near 1100 block of Fourth Street

24 year old male

8/17/18: Possession of Controlled Substance – Misdemeanor near 500 block of Orange Avenue
