CHS Girls’ Water Polo Plays Two Games This Week – One Win, One Loss

This past week, the girls’ varsity water polo team played two home games in the BBMAC pool. Wednesday’s game was against Foothill High School from Santa Ana. Foothill was at the top of their game and beat the Islanders 9-3. Junior Ryan Sund scored two out of the three goals for Coronado, and Reese Oliver made the third.

The Islanders played their second home game of the week against Valhalla High School from El Cajon. The final score had Coronado on top 13-4, top scorers being Reese Oliver and Ryan Sund once again. Ellie Nixon also contributed to the offensive end of the spectrum, making several good goals.

  • Friday, December 15 vs. Santa Margarita @ 5:00 PM (Away)
