Coronado Schools Foundation is offering school year test preparation classes for students who wish to excel at taking the SAT and ACT. Classes will be scheduled to prepare students for the November 4, 2017, March 10, 2018 and May 5, 2018 SAT test dates, as well as the December, 9 2017 and June 9, 2018 ACT test dates. The first session begins on September 30.
An optional ACT class will be available as part the November and May SAT classes. All classes are conveniently scheduled on Saturday mornings and are held at Coronado High School, 650 D Avenue in Coronado.
The seminar will provide 9 or 12 hours (when including the optional ACT class) of expert instruction to assist your student with his/her test preparation skills. The class size will be limited to 25 students and every student will be given testing materials from the College Board and will be given homework assignments to enhance understanding of the concepts covered in class.
The classes review all three areas of the SAT (Reading, Writing, and Mathematics) along with the strategies that optimize each student’s performance on the test. The ACT class adds the Science section that appears on that test. Private instruction is also available for interested students.
