- Dock C Marina: Dock C was reopened to boaters on Saturday, July 1, just in time for the busy Fourth of July holiday. The original wooden dock, which had exceeded its service life, was replaced with a new concrete dock similar to Docks A and B. The same number of slips were provided but with a new and more efficient configuration. In addition, the slips were moved farther from the seawall, delivering more light in the shallow water to provide better habitat for eelgrass. The dock also was constructed with an Americans with Disabilities Act-accessible gangway, upgraded power, telephone and data service, and fire protection. As of mid-week, the dock was approximately two-thirds occupied and complete occupancy is expected shortly.
- Fourth of July Overview: Here’s a breakdown of the City’s Fourth of July:

Police deployed three mobile camera trailers and two sky watch towers to aid in ensuring the safety of the community.
- Trash Bags and EDCO Containers:Â Â The City handed out 1,100 trash bags on the Fourth of July to help revelers help the City clean up their trash. More than 130 extra trash cans and 100 portable restrooms were added around town.
